General Questions

TVET MARA Besut Booking System is an online platform that allows staff and students to book rooms, halls, and equipment for various purposes such as meetings, training sessions, seminars, and events.

All TVET MARA Besut staff members and registered students can use the system. You need to create an account with your institutional email (.edu.my) to start booking.

Most facilities are free for official institutional use. However, some special equipment or after-hours usage may have charges. Please check with the administrator for more details.

Facilities are generally available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Weekend bookings may be available upon special request.

Booking Process

Login to your account, click on "New Booking", select your desired room, choose date and time, fill in the booking details, and submit. Your booking will be pending admin approval.

You can book up to 30 days in advance. This allows fair access for all users while maintaining flexibility.

Minimum booking duration is 30 minutes, and maximum is 8 hours per session. For longer events, you may need to make multiple bookings or contact the administrator.

After submission, your booking status will be "Pending". An admin will review and approve it. You'll receive a notification once it's approved. You can also check the status in "My Bookings".

Yes, you can cancel pending bookings from "My Bookings" page. For approved bookings, you need to contact the administrator for modifications or rescheduling.

If you're more than 30 minutes late without notice, your booking may be marked as "No Show" and released for others. Please inform the admin if you're running late.

Rooms & Facilities

We have various room types including Perdana Hall (100 pax), Integrasi Hall (80 pax), Conference Room (30 pax), Computer Labs, Classrooms, Media Room, and Recording Studio.

Most rooms come with projectors, whiteboards, air conditioning, and WiFi. Some rooms have additional facilities like sound systems, recording equipment, or specialized lab equipment.

Yes, you can view all rooms and their basic information on the "View Rooms" page without logging in. However, you need to login to make bookings.

You can try alternative time slots, choose a different room, or join a waiting list. The system will show you available alternatives.

Equipment

We offer various equipment including projectors, microphones, laptops, speakers, whiteboards, and other AV equipment. Check the Equipment page for the full list.

During the booking process, you can select "I need equipment" and choose the items you require. The system will check availability and include them in your booking.

Yes, equipment availability is limited and subject to stock. You can request multiple items, but quantities are subject to availability.

Please report any damaged equipment immediately to the technician. You may be responsible for damages caused by misuse.

Account Management

Click "Register" on the homepage, fill in your details including staff ID, name, email, and create a strong password. Use your institutional email (.edu.my) for verification.

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions. You'll receive an email with password reset link.

Yes, you can update your name, phone number, department, and profile picture from the Profile page after logging in.

Check your email and password. After 5 failed attempts, your account may be locked for security. Contact administrator for assistance.

Technical Support

The system works best on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.

First, try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If problems persist, contact the ICT support team at support@tvetmara.edu.my or call 09-123 4567.

Yes, we use industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure sessions, and regular security audits to protect your data.

Yes, the system is fully responsive and works on smartphones and tablets. You can make bookings on the go!
